The Brian Kendrick
How many people are digging The Brian Kendrick? I think this gimmick is gold. I’m happy to see that a smaller guy is getting a main event push, even though he’ll probably go back to being a mid carder as soon as this push is over.
Kendrick and London were on fire when they were on Smackdown but then they get drafted to RAW only to be rarely used or jobbed. The Brian Kendrick is lucky he got away from Paul London because London has tons of heat on him since he smiled during the Vince, exploding limo angle. That’s too bad because London could also be a good worker if he had a shot. Unfortunately, I can see him being released before the end of the year.
From what I hear, the character Kendrick plays is not much different than him in real life. Maybe that’s why he looks so smooth and comfortable playing the role. I liked his heel move during the Fatal Four Way on Smackdown. He waited outside the ring for practically the whole time, only jumping in when there was an opening after someone else did all the work. Brilliant!
Where can WWE go with The Brian Kendrick? There’s no way he’s going for the title anytime soon. Maybe Smackdown can bring back the Cruiserweight title or some other title so some of the smaller guys have something to shoot for. I think Helms should be coming back soon and he could team with Kendrick and form a great heel tag team.
Here’s hoping we see more of The Brian Kendrick and Ezekiel. Please WWE, don’t pull the plug on this too soon.
