First let me say that I’m a Cleveland Browns fan and I went to Eastern Michigan so I have two reasons to hate Ben Roethlisberger and, believe me, I hate the guy. At least I admit I have a bias against him so take this post however you want.
What he did Sunday night after the game made me want to shoot my television. Can someone please give me a good reason why he dodged Andrea Kramer’s question about his shoulder? What harm was there is answering that question? I thought she was actually giving him credit for playing through whatever shoulder problem he had. Instead, he totally disregarded her questions and gave answers to things she never asked. What gives Ben? He sounded like a NASCAR driver who has to thank his sponsors before answering a question. It makes no sense to me.
Also, why did the announcers just laugh it off? I have a feeling that if that had been Chad Ocho Cinco or Terrell Owens someone would have taken offense to it. Since it’s Ben and everybody loves him, it’s funny ha ha. Ben is so clever. Whatever! Does anyone see the problem here or am I just so blinded by my hate for Ben Roethlisberger that I’m making something out of nothing?
